Privacy Policy

I. General Provisions

  1. This Privacy Policy outlines how personal data of Users necessary for the provision of services electronically via the veroli.org website (hereinafter: the Service) are collected, processed, and stored.
  2. The Service collects only the personal data necessary for the provision and development of the services offered within it.
  3. Personal data collected via the Service are processed in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter GDPR) and the Personal Data Protection Act of 10 May 2018.

III. Purpose of Collecting Personal Data

  1. Personal data are used for the following purposes:
    • registration of an account and verification of the User’s identity,
    • enabling login to the Service,
    • execution of a contract for services and e-services,
    • communication with the User (live chat, contact form, etc.),
    • sending a newsletter (upon the User’s consent),
    • managing the comment system,
    • providing community services,
    • promoting the Controller’s offer,
    • marketing, remarketing, affiliate programs,
    • personalizing the Service for Users,
    • analytical and statistical activities,
    • debt collection,
    • establishing and defending claims.
  2. Providing data is voluntary but necessary to enter into a contract or use other functionalities of the Service.

IV. Types of Personal Data Processed

The Controller may process the User’s personal data including: name and surname, date of birth, residential address, email address, phone number, tax identification number (NIP).

V. Period of Processing Personal Data

Personal data of Users will be processed for the following periods:

  • when the basis for data processing is the performance of a contract – until the expiration of claims after its execution,
  • when the basis for data processing is consent – until it is withdrawn, and after withdrawal until the expiration of claims.

In both cases, the limitation period is 6 years, and for periodic benefits and claims related to business activity – 3 years (unless a special regulation specifies otherwise).

VI. Disclosure of Personal Data

  1. Users’ personal data may be transferred to: entities affiliated with the Controller, its subcontractors, entities cooperating with the Controller such as e-payment processing companies, courier/postal services, law firms.
  2. Users’ personal data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

VII. Users’ Rights

  1. A User of the Service has the right to: access their personal data, rectify, delete, restrict processing, transfer data, object to processing, withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the legality of processing based on consent before its withdrawal).
  2. Requests regarding the exercise of the rights mentioned should be sent to verolifoundation@gmail.com.
  3. The Controller will comply with or refuse a request without undue delay, at most within one month of receipt.
  4. The User has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection if they believe their rights and freedoms have been violated (GDPR).

VIII. Cookies

  1. The Service collects information through cookies – session, permanent, and third-party.
  2. The collection of cookies supports the proper provision of services in the Service and serves statistical purposes.
  3. The User may determine the scope of access to cookies on their device through browser settings.

IX. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling

  1. Users’ data will not be processed in an automated way that would result in any decisions concerning them.
  2. Users’ data may be profiled to tailor content and personalize offers upon their consent.

X. Final Provisions

  1. The Controller has the right to make changes to the Privacy Policy, provided that the Users’ rights are not limited.
  2. Information about changes will be provided in the form of a notice available on the Service.
  3. In matters not regulated by this Privacy Policy, the provisions of the GDPR and Polish law apply.
